Vintage Carnival Wedding
I had the extreme pleasure of designing and making this vintage carnival themed wedding cake for one of the coolest couples I have ever met. They were both so fun and you could tell the wedding was going to be spectacular! As I heard all the details of the big plans for the wedding during our initial tasting, I was immediately inspired! Pie eating contests, carnival games, gorgeous vintage rentals! It’s a dream come true! I would love to share some photos from this gorgeous wedding with you! Thank you to Adam Trujillo Photography for sharing your gorgeous photos as well.
The wedding took place at the gorgeous Wind Mountain Ranch in Stevensen, WA
The bride and groom. You can just see how in love they are <3
Nothing more beautiful than a happy bride on her wedding day
The decor was amazing <3 The color tones where spot on. The wedding was coordinated and designed by the fabulous Petalos Design here in Portland. Not one detail was left unattended down to the tiny pie pops on each place setting.

The cake! I was thrilled when the couple asked me to create a show-stopper for them! We started with their coral and tangerine color palette and threw in fun vintage carnival elements and even snuck in a little miniature version of their pup. The top tier of the cake rotated and two of the tiers lit up with mini LED’s.
The cake was set amongst a gorgeous display of candy and sweet treats for guest to enjoy.

As you can imagine, it was a little windy the day of but it didn’t matter. The wind made the day all the more beautiful. The ceremony was held in a nearby field with a gorgeous ribbon backdrop, vintage rentals and fresh blooms in the perfect palette. My favorite part was the large white balloons lining the aisle.
How perfect is the officiant?Dressed as the ringmaster. So awesome

What would a vintage carnival wedding be without some games! There was a ring toss, goldfish game and even a pie-eating contest. I think this wedding will go down in history as the funnest wedding ever.

I loved the vintage rentals placed carefully around the wedding for guests to sit and chat, laugh or just enjoy the moment together.
Congratulations Elaine and Joel. By the looks of your wedding, your marriage will be full of fun, romance and beauty!
